Crewly Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this covers

Andi Sun, operating Crewly (“Crewly,” “we,” or “us”), operates the Crewly pre-launch waitlist and website. Crewly is being developed to help recent graduates moving to a new city meet people through shared interests, groups, and real-world plans.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information through our current website and early-access waitlist. We may update this policy as Crewly adds new features or begins collecting additional categories of information.

2. Information we collect

When you join the Crewly waitlist, we may collect:

• First name
• Email address or mobile number
• School and graduation year
• City you are moving to
• Your selected interests and activities
• Optional information such as approximate move/start month, expected neighborhood, employer or job, what you are looking for, and how you heard about Crewly

We also record information needed to operate and understand the waitlist, including signup time, referral relationships, SMS consent records, and marketing attribution such as UTM campaign parameters.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated website traffic, such as pages viewed, referring sources, approximate geographic region, browser, device, and operating system information. Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies for visitor identification and does not provide us with personally identifying IP-address analytics.

3. How we use your information

We may use information to:

• Create and manage your waitlist or early-access spot
• Understand demand across cities, schools, graduation years, and interests
• Communicate waitlist, launch, and early-access information
• Measure referrals and marketing performance
• Improve, operate, and secure Crewly
• Prevent abuse and protect the integrity of the waitlist
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Text messages

If you choose text contact and check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Crewly relating to your waitlist status, launch updates, early-access opportunities, and, when applicable, Crewly group or meetup communications.

• Message frequency may vary.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• SMS consent is optional. You may choose email contact instead.
• Reply STOP to opt out of text messages.
• Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at joincrewly.app@gmail.com.
• Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell or share your mobile number, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We expect to use a communications service provider such as Twilio to deliver messages on our behalf once SMS messaging is launched.

5. How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Crewly, such as hosting, database, analytics, communications, and security providers. These providers process information to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the rights or safety of Crewly or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the business.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Analytics

We currently use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Crewly website. We also use campaign parameters and referral links to measure which marketing channels or referrals result in waitlist signups.

If we adopt additional analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies in the future, we may update this policy and provide any additional notices or choices required by applicable law.

7. Retention and your choices

We generally retain waitlist information while Crewly’s pre-launch and early-access program is active and for up to 12 months afterward, unless the information becomes part of an active Crewly account, a longer period is required by law, or you request deletion sooner.

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you, or to ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.

To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP. When email unsubscribe functionality is implemented, promotional emails will include an unsubscribe method.

8. Security and age requirement

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Crewly is intended only for people who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have done so, we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as Crewly develops. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
